"No layers here"

Films: The Ogre (1988)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Ogres are often lumped in with giants and trolls, and that's perfectly understandable. But then again, that means that an ogre can be anything the creator wants, be it misunderstood loner or in this case, deadly serial killer.

History: Horror writer Cheryl has been plagued with nightmares for her entire life. And now, the villa she and her family has moved into is bringing her old traumas to life. Her worst fear is a monstrous ogre that is attracted to the orchids around the place. Now, it's alive and killing anyone it gets its hands on.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Cheryl finally overcomes her fears by running the Ogre several times over with a car. Upon dying, the beast disappears.

Powers/Abilities: Impervious to sharp weapons.

Weakness: Extreme blunt force.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-There is plenty of reason to avoid this sharply-dressed killer ogre. His face is a sight, and it must be frustrating to be unable to puncture its thick hide.

Trivia: -Rather inexplicably, this film is sometimes sold as an unofficial sequel to "Demons", despite having no relation. Perhaps this is actually about an infected man who grew more powerful than ever?

-Another less misleading title for this film is "House of the Ogre".
